So many people tell me that they think my job would just be so fun. I can not argue with that. I believe that I have the best job in the world. I get to reach out and touch people every day. I love that something that is a simple as a hairstyle can change someones life and even just brighten their day.I love that hairdressing lets me understand a person more and find out their whole life story, the good the bad and make them feel comfortable to tell me their lives and there incredible and inspiring stories. I’m always very eager to catch up with regular clients so i can hear their next chapter. I love what I do and it is the reason I pursued this career.

At the age of about nine I had my mind set on become a vet and as i grew i knew that it wasn't for me I loved doing everything creative from dancing around the lounge, baking and making every cupcake look amazing, being taught how make my own clothes by sewing and knitting and taking painting classes with one of the most important person that was in my life, my nan.

As little as four I was styling my brothers blow cut hairstyle into cute little waterfalls! All my barbies dolls had ‘amazing’ hairstyles and probably had one to many hair cuts. For my 10th birthday dad brought me the latest trending doll which was a giant brats head named jasmine, miss jasmine let me practices my hair up and let me pull her hair out as i taught myself to braid until i thought it would be a great idea to cut her hair, you would of thought i would of learnt from the barbies.
The first 14 years of my life I had to watch my nan go through breast cancer then become riddled with it. I remember her crying when her hair fell out from chemotherapy over and over again. I watched her wear wigs and saw how happy it would make her. I will always remember when she had her last lot of chemotherapy I said that if i wasn't trying to get an hairdressing apprenticeship i would do save a cure for her, she told me no i would never wish having no hair on anyone, your hair is a part of you and to a lot of other people in the world there hair is apart of them so go out and make them all beautiful.
